Lexie and Sarah were roommates at Stanford, back when getting ready meant everyone crowded around one mirror.

After college, Lexie was drafted into the WNBA. Sarah went into beauty-focused private equity. Our days looked nothing alike, but we had the same problem. Our makeup looked good at the mirror and was gone by halftime, or by the third meeting of the day.
